Perspective
To have chameleons dancing, make the triton happy, take take care of the wellbeing of this little world of amphibians, reptiles, invertebrate, from aquariums to vivarium and terrarium.
To orchestrate the set up and achievement of the project, under the « big Rock » and in the glasshouse, to fascinate curious kids, adults in a hurry, and connoisseurs too.
The new vision for the Vincennes Zoo, near Paris is:”Presentaion of a Living Environment with tha animal as ambassador ”.
The original frame of the project does not worry them: one can also defend his project in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
The original subject stimulates them: they have to show and display living creatures; If it is easier to manage emotions with animal rather than with an object, the first client is very demanding… and must live happy…
Thus, the reconstitution of his living conditions, as close as possible to real life, with the right light, hygrometry, ideal temperature…sharing space with others species on vertical basis, each occupying the specific area that fits him better... and light, working at the reconstitution of a living environment like garrigue, swamp, mountain.
As each element is here to suggest, they imagine the concrete rock painted by artists, or the “Tadlak” walls of the Greenhouse’s vivariums that present Guyana and Madagascar, with their 80% humidity. All along tthe project, models are shown and discussed with the museum, the veterinarians, the landscape designers, and the company ... no stress for the animals …
The final client, the visitor, must be happy too … He can discover the beauty of the landscapes and the biotope richness, he is guided all along with specific zones of the environment, underlined by the decor itself.
No predefined conceptual identity but a real work between the different actors with a unified vision for the park.
The direction signs are now designed, the educational signage can be read at two different levels…Medhia and Urs based their choice of information on March 2004 provisions, that set the minimum details for living presentation, then they satisfy children curiosity: Height, weight, food, life expectancy …Allways the fast rading and the detailed text with a common colour chart and icons all the way through the visit. To create a parallel with reality, a video at the entrance of each different area.
Pleasure, emotions and informations will be part of the visit.
